From Pee Review[edit]

This is a VERY British article, but it's my first, so would particularly appreciate any comments from Brits, but general style comments etc. would be appreciated from anyone. Thanks old bean --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Asahatter (talk • contribs)

Humour: 7 Well written but needs some slight expansion to add extra hilarity. Prehaps a few more lines on each character, with facts like ' This man has an inner monologue that reads like a daily mail article.' or ' Several residents are so bland their blood is actually beige coloured.'As well as some more information on how the villigers are kept separated from the outside world. You could also claim the village still uses predecimal currency, and that the villagers are unaware the 1950's have finished.
Concept: 8 A good idea, just needs some extra work to bring it up to a really high standard.
Prose and formatting: 10 Sentences well constructed, no problems here.
Images: 7 Images are fine.
Miscellaneous: 7 Needs a bit more of this.
Final Score: 39 A good article overall, just needs some extra work to increase the joke density and make it into a great article.

From Pee Review 2[edit]

The Archers[edit]

I stuck this up for review before and had some useful comments, which I have incorporated. Any more gratefully received, but remember this is a British institution, so may not play so well over the pond.-Asahatter (annoy) 20:43, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 8.5 Good stuff, like where you've gone with this.
Concept: 8 Yep, it's a good concept, although as you observe, it may not travel well.
Prose and formatting: 9 Well written, no problems. I could probably find some if I searched hard enough (I'm picky like that), but certainly nothing glaring!
Images: 8 It has images, and they are relevant. That's more than many articles manage.
Miscellaneous: 9 It may well be my British restraint that means I have an aversion to giving tens, but I did like this.
Final Score: 42.5 You took on board the previous review and ran with it. A significant improvement, well done! Oh, I don't know if you've considered adding a UK-ish template to it?

As to useful comments, I'm fresh out. Did think of a couple as I started reading, only to find them included later on.

The prevalence of our beloved transatlantic cousins hereabouts might reduce the chances of a good VFH run, but nonetheless I'd say this is a job well done. I doff my cap in an approving fashion. --Sir Under User (Hi, How Are You?) VFH KUN 16:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
