Is it just me, or does this article need a rewrite? Badly? If so, can I try? MacMania 15:27, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- I did a big rewrite a while ago (you should have seen the original) but the anonymous IP edits started to creep in. Feel free to go nuts; the first bit certainly needs a lot of the cruft removing. --Guybles CUN 12:28, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Excellent work! Have a cookie. --Guybles CUN 09:20, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Brilliant, MacMania! This is the best featured article I've read in a long time. --Vana 22:41, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- Why thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it. Sir MacMania GUN—[00:29 12 Aug 2009]
- Obviously didn't read the one from the day before... It was the PEE review that did it. Pup
- Yes excellent article Mac. Also have to hand it to Puppy that by the time it got to my review, the damn thing was already perfect and there was nothing for me to improve :( --El Sid, the lazy one • parlez-vous franglais? 11:10, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- But of course! Sir MacMania GUN—[12:45 12 Aug 2009]

I read 'the proverbial somewhere' that there is only one correct piece of railway travel information in the entire Holmes output: so he is a prime candidate for Uncyclopedia.
Michael Portillo probably nabbed Holmes' Bradshaw. Jackiespeel (talk) 13:21, June 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Michael Portillo channels Sherlock? --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 13:38, June 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Great Railway Journeys (and other travels)
How come nobody ever suspects Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marples, Father Brown and Hercule Poirot of committing all the crimes (so they can then solve them)? Jackiespeel (talk) 17:09, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
