This article is not funny

Why does this article pass for humor? It is about as funny as cancer. All it is, is a collection of smug little put-downs that have obviously been conjured up by some pompous little Englanders.

Check out the French and German sites for pages about Scotland that actually have humor in them.

(It's also quite strange how we can edit the Scotland, and Wales pages but not the England page. It is bias I wonder or just dreary English nationalism? - some are able to give it but not to take it. How childish.)

I agree

There is little humour here. It's all about stereotypes and racism. Och, hoo can we no' mak fun o' oorsells withoot haein a go at ithers? There's a lot o' humour in Scotland; let's show it.

Who ruined the article

This used to be one of the funniest articles on uncyclopedia, it used to be light hearted fun, now it's a bunch of racist comments, just look at the introduction. It used to say something like "the Scottish parliament was designed by Manuel from Faulty Towers to make Edinburgh the Barcelona of the north" which was funny. Now it says “The Scots have a Parliament which was designed by Manuel from Fawlty Towers, and is a desperate (failed) attempt to make Edinburgh look like the "Barcelona of the North".” which sounds spiteful like the rest of article, if you hate Scotland then don't look it up on Uncyclopedia. Same goes for any anti-English comments, you don't have to hate England of you love Scotland.

"Improvements"

Please don't take the page personaly, i'm from Inverness originaly , the site(Unccylopedia) is intended to take the piss (see other countrys I.E England, Ireland) not make some critical point, you actualy removed slurs aginst the English and pulled out proper gramtical sentences as well!user:MMACKNIGHTMMACKNIGHT 08:44, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I found the article quite funny and not in the least bit insulting. If the sort of bigoted rubbish spouted by CrabPope (racists, inferiority complex, etc) appears in the article, then of course it needs to be reverted. Technical Talk

Someone somewhere needs to know that when I tried to edit the 'Scotland' page on Wed 19th Jan (2011) - the page seized up and couldn't be edited. Is it protected in someway? I tried to edit the England page next and the same thing happened. What's more important, as well as seizing up the pages the computer seized the computer up a bit (affecting other sites) and they couldn't be closed - and it wasn't my computer. (Notregisteredyet)

Shame! Racist Unencyclopedia!

Can one of the dictators who have protection status do a favour for us lesser mortals and change:

"The only people who dislike the Scots are the English, ..."

to the correct:

"The only people who dislike the Scots are the English, and everyone else who has the mis-fortune to experience them."?

Could they also change the Scotchy flag to the Cross Of St. George, as on the England page the English are not allowed to have the Cross Of St. George? (It's been replace by some Hitlerian vandal darling.)
