Minnesota Vikings[edit]
I love the map of Norway that includes the Minnesota Territory, but why the hell haven't one of you creative fucks thought to make the sports connection?
Good job[edit]
I'd like to say, that whichever norwegian wrote the "useful phrases" part, really made me laugh. So, yeah, that part was fantastic. Though, yeah, not so much the rest.
Inconsistancy[edit]
I though Norway was the fuckin' Swedish capital, as stated on Denmark. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.61.223.58 (talk • contribs)

Norwegian Love[edit]
I reverted some guy claiming that Norwegian hate Germans and love Americans. The fact is that Norwegians love neither Germans nor Americans. Americans are fat, while Germans are just ugly. --Megus 19:55, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Facts[edit]
Norway is the worlds largest place. It's over 65 349 271 squaremiles. The Norwegian people have one tradition, to drink every weekend. A group called "Helgefyll" blogs drinkingnews on their webpage. Then they have parties with over 4000 people. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jokakim (talk • contribs)
The biggest organisation where drunk norwegians can gather and talk about drinks and alcohol is called FRP, they are trying to take over the country! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.111.146.112 (talk • contribs)
Norway is also well known abroad for its knowledge of rock music. Norway has been breeding rock bands for a couple of hundred years now. Some of the most famous is bands like : Turboneger ( when they appear outside nowrway they are known as : "Turbonegro" ) Motorpsycho and Black debbath. There are also artists norwegians are not very proud of such as : Dimmu Borgir and Jan Teigen. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.116.85.83 (talk • contribs)

I'll see what I can do about the spelling later, if I can remember, but right now that image is giving me serious laughing problems. Dead-Inside 10:55, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, that's nice. The above person said "I erased it", if anybody doesnt get the obvious meaning of his post. Now what? -Ghou —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.202.99.222 (talk • contribs)
Criticism[edit]
For you information, it is not funny when you add your own name into the history of norway or the famous people section. One could be nice, but when every single stupid norwegian has to add himself as "the best guitar player" or whatever, it just gets stupid. Someone should go over this entire article and make sure it is actually funny - and not filled with ego-boosting self-bragging stupidity. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 139.164.130.171 (talk • contribs)
- Aye, I completely agree. I am sick of all these "fjortisses" that spam around, making up things that's just not funny and with a bad grammar. For example the guy that said 'First of all... NORWAY RULES EUROPE!' sure was an idiot. I shall remove it as soon as possible. God damamit, freaking idiots. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.48.52.28 (talk • contribs)
- I have done some cleanup, removing unfunny/insulting/otherwise inappropriate stuff. I also went over that list and removed some of the obvious "self-adders". --Ose 19:07, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- In addition, the infobox should get some cleanup (for the same reasons). But i'll leave that to someone else. --Ose 19:20, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

What the elk?[edit]
Who changed the headlines in the article to this... American inspired crap? It's not funny at all... The unity of the article is destroyed by it as well.
Someone needs to take the knife to this article. There are funny passages, but ~90% could easily go...
Not fun at all..[edit]
This article is NOT funny! You're shitting on the Norwegian culture! --Mr Kaizer, hans Constanse, og Meg 17:42, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Civil Wars[edit]
The new edit refers to Norways three most popular soccer teams. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.202.212.230 (talk • contribs)
- The problem with language-based jokes is, that they're very language specific. Which makes using Norwegian, or Swedish, or anything else that's a small language on a global scale very tricky. I doubt there are wiki pages for the soccer teams, which means you can't exactly link to those, either. One way I see it working would be to clarify it is a quote, and then find things like domhär killarna, till exempel and edit them into the text, so people can get a clue by hovering their mouse over. We're happy you're interested in editing Uncyclopedia, and hope to see you again. If your visits become frequent, Mr/Ms IP80.202.212.230, please, do register an account and join in the fun. Just take it easy with the language-specific jokes. The admins around here don't really understand Scandinavian languages or culture as well, and might ban people making such edits on sight, if they miss the joke repeatedly. -- DameViktoria 20:56, 15 Oct
- I've currently refrained from reverting your edits, IP-person 80.202.212.230, but I wish to emphasise that with the Norwegian I understand, the edit still has a whiff of dead serious football fan vanity, and not as much a silly, uncyclopedical parody odour. Please consider how other readers perceive the angle of your text, and you might notice what I mean. Perhaps you'd like to write a longer paragraph on the subject of football related civil wars in stead of just hyping about one team? -- DameViktoria 17:41, 17 Oct
