Talk:Lingerie

Nobody cares, but I actually despise the Lingerie Football League because these are talented athletes, playing an actual hard-hitting game of gridiron football. I know this because I've watched entire games, sexy butt cheeks and all. I can enjoy the spectacle like a normal guy, but I can also see past it to what's really going on. I know that women enjoy tight butts on NFL fields, that's perfectly fine - but this is very very different. One of the players said she believes one day they won't have to wear lingerie to get people to watch their games, but, um... right. The reality is every other professional women's american football league - where they wear the same uniforms that men wear - has offensive line players upwards of 300 pounds. There is a reason for this. A football reason. I am a normal American male, but being a true sports fan I'm also a fan of women's athletics; the skill set on display and the viewing experience is different and compelling to me. All that is to say that I hope the ironic satire in this article reflects my disdain for what they are doing, regardless of the loveliness of the spectacle, but I'm writing this note because I'm not sure it does. Like I said, however, I realize that nobody cares.
