On a minor point - should this be titled All Quiet on the Western Front (Game)? --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:20, June 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Should Opeth be retitled Opeth (talk show)? (This article is far from perfect, but if you want, I can explain the rationale behind my concept.) ~ 11:43, Jun 27, 2010
- You are aware that the film was originally considered to be anti war - and was banned in Germany in 1933. Perhaps this is a point to consider? --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 12:17, June 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I know that. I've never seen the film but I studied the book for English in high school. I think this is probably my fault for not conveying my concept clear enough. Anyway, I was thinking about how to satirise AQWF for a while, and while playing COD4, which struck me as pro-war, this idea came to me. I have a fairly good opinion of AQWF and there's nothing I can think of to satirise, so I turned it to satirising the glorifications of war in war games instead. That's why. I think it should be pretty obvious that the "game" in my article is anti-war, not pro-war. I mean, obviously. How on earth did you get the idea that I thought AQWF is pro-war? Did you miss all the mentions of brutality, dysentry, hypocrisy, shell shock and what not? ~
- (18 months later) I never did answer that but you were right. And more importantly, why did I forget this conversation until now? --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 23:24, December 23, 2011 (UTC)
- My bet's on old age and hard liquor. --Black Flamingo 01:32, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
- The former Black Flamingo. --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 12:29, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

Reference Point[edit]
I use this very funny and clever article as a reference point for anyone that wants to combine a fictional video game based on a famous film/book/etc etc. If there is a video game with this title...I don't want to know because the game play described here could never match this. Shame you left Hiatus! --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 11:14, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
