Professor
A professor is a person who professes to know enough as to be able to teach university students, sometimes as many as five hundred of them in a lecture hall, in the event he doesn't have important research to attend to that justifies assigning the lecture to a stuttering grad student working at the minimum wage.

There are, of course, many other noted professors. If you write an article on one, you might mention it in the above list. On the other hand, if you are ready to write an article on a un-noted professor, say, because he dissed you in front of the entire class for not following what he was professoring about because you were watching videos on your phone, please just wise up instead.
