Concerning "Do's" as opposed to "Dos"[edit]

I don't get why, when talking about what to do or not to do, we say "Do's and don'ts" instead of "Dos and don'ts". The apostrophe in "don'ts" is from the contraction. In "do's/dos", there is no contraction, nor is there the use of a possesive (the other situation that would warrant an apostrophe-S at the end). When we are simply pluralizing, an S by itself should be the proper rendering. However, to avoid further debate, in the section concerning what types of things are appropriate clothes to give the target as replacement clothes, I will change this to "What to Buy and What Not to Buy". 21:54, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

The page title[edit]

Shouldn't this be moved to HowTo:Make a girl fat? I'm just asking 'cause the last time I moved something, it didn't so so good. So what about this one? --Mimo&Maxus (Talk) 21:22, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Your sense of English is correct. Perhaps "HowTo:Create a fat girl". More problematic is that the author in the Intro wrings his hands about the choice of words. Perhaps he was less than 3 days old on Uncyclopedia and couldn't see the Move button at all. Do the right thing; don't stay with the wrong thing and apologize for it to the reader! I don't get it[edit]

This reads like a mostly-serious guide written by a fat fetishist. I don't understand what the joke is. ❦ Llwy-ar-lawr talkcontribs • 05:35 10 June 2018

You're missing the entire joke.[edit]

It's as old as the hills. The punch line goes like this:

PUT A RING ON HER.

ba dum tiss! (thank you! Try the veal!)
