From Pee Review[edit]

I wrote this article a while back, and now I posted it finally. I don't know if there is anything else to do, but if I could receive some constructive criticism, that would be great. --Shadowlost 01:37, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 6 Quite amusing in parts, given the concept.
Concept: 5 The concept isn't bad, it's just limited. Unnecessarily detailed instructions for mundane activities can be amusing - and this is amusing, IMHO - but realistically is unlikely to rise above amusing to the realms of funny, sidesplitting or hilarious.
Prose and formatting: 8 The writing is lucid, readable and clever. The school teacher in me wants to complain about unneccesary elipses, but realistically nobody cares about that.
Images: 0 Obviously there are no pictures; Having said that, a couple of diagrams wouldn't hurt
Miscellaneous: 10 The many and diverse miscellanies of this article are diverse and miscellaneous indeed. Or to put it another way, I have no idea what this category is for, so I'll just give you ten. But don't let it go to your head.
Final Score: 29 I hasten to say that there is nothing wrong with this article. It's as good as or better than half the articles on this site, and if I didn't laugh out loud it certainly raised a smile. If you're happy with that, then mission accomplished. If you want to get this article featured, I'd a) add some images and b) expand on your basic concept. Perhaps start with mundane instructons but gradually get sillier? Or something on the dire consequences of failed leaning? Or something else perhaps. It just needs to either expand on or, ideally, break free of the limits of the underlying concept.

I must say that I laughed out loud once, and it was about the mock seriousness of the whole article. It's a good thing you didn't move into the oft-found trap of going too far and losing the concept while simultaneously not being funny. Swell job, though I've read funnier. --Ljlego 02:49, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

-Thanks for the help thus far. I have cleaned up the ellipses, added pictures, and added some links throughout the article. Does anyone have any other ideas, comments, concerns? --Shadowlost 06:57, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
