That seems really like something that should've been removed, besides obviously killing the humor, it's a completely irrational fear of guns. Come on...they don't get up and shoot people. Yes, the ending is ranty. But again, any article that has run on the main page is presumed not to need remediation with its humor. There are bigger fish to fry; or create your own.
