Welcome to the Mother Ship of amateur comedy writing! (Amateur means we don't pay you to do it.)

This is where the original Uncyclopedia wound up. You might as well pick a user name. We have no "partners" that want to sell you stuff. Uncyclopedians get a talk page, private edit area, and a welcome, maybe, if you actually edit; and we won't de-platform you for your views, if they're funny.

Game talk:Alone in the dark/Engine

Wouldn't it be nice to have something special happen when people start inserting random offset numbers? Something like "You have tried to cheat the game. The darkness will now swallow you whole. You will be trapped forever. Alone. In the dark." Hmm? I hadn't even thought about that. That's the problem when converting from link-based to CGI based games. I'll have to work on something. Pup 08:20 16 Feb '11
Stupid Wikia. That isn't possible on this platform, unless you make the engine the game itself. --JordonOng 12:03, May 31, 2011 (UTC)
It is in a way. The way it's done is by using the last 3 digits only. By adding in an if offset > 999 then it would work. I haven't looked at the code for a while, but I think the third digit (hundreds) covers possible movement/action, and that has 7 options, so even >799 would work. Pup 12:10 31 May '11
