Right then. I think that all allowable vanity pages should be semiprotected. This will cut down on the high amount of IPeon vandalism, and reduce the chance of it ever violating vanity policy. Thoughts? Maj.png Major Sir Hinoa (Plead) (KUN) 06:42, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Sounds like an idea that we should seriously consider. It would help... Dawg.gif » Brig Sir Dawg | t | v | c » 06:46, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Well, this didn't get much attention. I'm moving this to Miniluv; hopefully, other admins will NOTICE it! —Sir Major Hinoa [TALK] [KUN] 21:20, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Like what is considered acceptable vanity? ~Sir Rangeley Icons-flag-us.png GUN WotM UotM EGA +S (talk) 18:39, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Template:Vanity would be a good place to start... —Hinoa talk.kun 22:12, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Why don't we just leave them unprotected and then when they go to crap we can VFD them. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 14:11, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

As long as you help with VFD. —Hinoa talk.kun 20:48, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Personally, I favour the deletion of all vanity pages and schoolcruft except those which are about something undeniably notable; by which I mean stuff that even my mother would have heard of. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 10:06, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

I've got to agree with that, what's the point of a page that makes sense to 20 people in a D&D club (or whatever). They can put that on their personal website. -- sannse<staff/> (talk) 20:36, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
I have long supported DELETING IT ALL (except WJU). And you have a very good point there; if it's that specific, put it on your own site! Dawg.gif » Brig Sir Dawg | t | v | c » 20:57, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Just a clarification, so now all that fits in this citera are candidates for QVFD? --Quira 13:07, 22 September 2006 (UTC) (I should really make myself a sig)
Candidates for burnination. But review carefully first. Dawg.gif » Brig Sir Dawg | t | v | c » 13:19, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Looks like Xmas came early this year for us burninators. Thank you, Robot Jesus! --The King In Yellow (Talk to the Dalek.) 18:53, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
See what happens when you listen to Codeine? Now, about those plans for a licensed bar behind the Village Dump... -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 19:48, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Who is going to change the vanity guidelines to reflect this new ruling? Dawg.gif » Brig Sir Dawg | t | v | c » 02:16, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Not it. —Hinoa talk.kun 03:10, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
