Forum:Ban on Anime???
I just got the word from PetitionOnline.com
My fellow Americans, I have read many of your comments and concerns, I feel that if we want to eradicate this evil that is plaguing America we have to come together and voice concerns such as you have my fellow Christians. I am working to pass a new law that bans every type of questionable animation that comes into America. It is our duty as Americans to see that our children are not subjected to these evil images that will plague our childrens minds. I thank you for your time and opinions. - George Bush
Does this means Wikipedia and this site is going to remove all anime references? I am really hurt and my heart is broken that I'll have to trash all my anime DVDs and mangas.--User:Jtaylor1/sig 22:33, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

Form letter. Bet you anything. —Hinoa KUN (talk) 23:33, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
Nonymous, calm the fruck down. I can barely read pages with my cataracts already, and I don't need overexcited, tumor-ridden words blocking my view further. Related to the topic, "Oh teh noes, teh bad pictres are going to eat my childrens!!1" This is the same Bushit as the War on Christmas and gays attacking marraige. Christmas trees did not get bombed, and gays didn't burn any marraige documents. Commence the roasting of my flesh. --Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 23:42, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, Kalir. I think what we need to do is to remove any porn anime (Hentai) references from this site.--User:Jtaylor1/sig 23:50, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
I am 100% for the eradication of the worthless trash known as anime from this earth, in any and all forms. -- 13:17, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Ha Ha. I bet some kind of user who impersonates our president thinks that he's going to ban anime. They can ban hentai and lolicon. If you going to sign this petition go ahead it's probably worthless and has no redeemable value. --User:Jtaylor1/sig 18:41, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Probably? Do you really think it could actually be the president? -- 20:05, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Jtaylor, if you dislike these petitions so much, why did you sign one going to the president? They don't care if they're positive or negative feedback, they just want as many signatures as possible. --Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 15:05, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Dont demean this legitimate and worthwhile petition. ~Sir Rangeley GUN WotM UotM EGA +S (talk) 18:46, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Oh wait, I forgot. This is Uncyclopedia. Okay, yeah! Let's cut out all of this art form, because it certainly isn't discrimination, and it certainly isn't quashing free speech. My children watched an anime once (Pokey Man, I think it was) and now their eyes bleed twice a week! Those pictures are the spawn of Satan himself and put Goatse to shame! --Ж Kalir, Awesome Author(alliteration affords additional awesome) 22:21, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
So far for now, anime will remain in the U.S. until another president comes in and decides to ban it for the christians. But remember WWII, we already done enough suffering to the Japanese. Time to move on. Oh, yeah. there were 6365 signatures on the Ban Anime Now Petition. --User:Jtaylor1/sig 21:04, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Online Petitions Vs. Actual Petitions
Okay, lets review.
Online petitions have no redeeming value while actual petitions have some redeeming value. So online petitions to ban anime is impossible and actual petitions to ban anime may work. So which petitions will win?--User:Jtaylor1/sig 20:44, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Whichever one is banning anime. ~Sir Rangeley GUN WotM UotM EGA +S (talk) 20:57, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
This guy named Dennis Fuller. Here's his emali: neko332@rogers.com. This guy must be tired of anime.--User:Jtaylor1/sig 21:07, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Hahaha
The signatures on that thing are priceless. A good half of them are from anime LOVERS who either
A) Think it's real and are pleading for the ban to not happen,
B) Think it's written by President Bush and blame him (Sig 6328: "George Bush should be impeached if he's doing this to us."),
C) Can't comprehend satire in the slightest,
D) Have the grammar and spelling skills of a mildly retarded possum,
or some combination thereof.
They are demonstrating themselves the exact reason why anime really is finishing the job on making kids stupid the public education system started. Wow. -- 21:12, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
See? --User:Jtaylor1/sig 21:40, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
How many of the responses are actually from Japanese schoolgirls? --Carlb 22:27, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
6336 sigs and raising. Half of the anime fans don't realized they're helping this actual cause.--68.220.96.95 01:10, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
