A little bit about the reviewer before we start.
I won an award for modesty recently, but they took it away when I left it in my user page.

How good does it look and how well does it read? 7
Writing style
Excellent writing style. You've managed to again produce a brilliant rendition of speech and tone from an outdated era, but added to that you've put it in a recognizable framework of a modern day script, prefaced by a fantastically crafted introduction. A joy to read.

Layout
The one drawback in an otherwise fantastic piece. By prefacing a line with spaces you mess up word wrap, and for those that have style sheets that word wrap on their behalf it can make it even harder to read.
Coincidentally Socky and I were discussing something similar recently when I was struggling with an ASCII art idea of mine. To get a similar look that gives cross browser/platform/screen resolution/full or lite version support it's better to use a <div style="font-family:monospace;">
. This allows you to play with styling to your hearts content and gives you more control and allows it to flex across browsers. Alternately you can use the following
<pre style="overflow-x: auto; white-space: pre-wrap; white-space: -moz-pre-wrap !important; white-space: -pre-wrap; white-space: -o-pre-wrap; width: 99%; word-wrap: break-word;">
Which I have to be completely honest and I have tested this in a few places, with success, but it's not my code originally. This also allows you to set background, colour, and other styling options, doesn't have the same word wrap issue, and will allow you to use spaces to indent lines but won't break at undesirable places. In both of these, though, I would indent using :
Overall appearance
What I just said above.
Concept[edit]
How good an idea is behind the article? 8
Very clever, and very enjoyable. Loved reading throughout the entire piece.
Humour[edit]
How funny is it? Why is it funny? How can it be funnier? 8
I was expecting the subtext of witch trials to be going throughout the text, but it still works in well where it is.
I also expected the classic Blackadder :The more you protest the more evidence you give that you are a witch.
- Well, in that case, I'm a witch
- Condemned by his own mouth
or something along those lines. Also something related to evidence obtained through dunking, or something similar.
Images[edit]
How are the images? Are they relevant, with good quality and formatting? 7
Could we add in a courtroom sketch with a bedraggled looking witness on the stand? It seems a little light on for images.
Miscellaneous[edit]
The article's overall quality - that indefinable something. 7
I make no secret of the fact that I love reading your stuff. A very worthy addition to the whole!
