Guru Nanak Dev[edit]

Humour: 6.5 Okay, so this appears to be a rather interesting stub concerning Guru Nanak Dev and his philosophy behind Sikkhism. Whatever you have written seems decent enough, and it seems primarily based on the idea that Sikkhism actually arose because Guru Nanak borrowed ideas from Hinduism and Islam wherever he saw fit. Whatever jokes and one-liners you had made me giggle, but your article still seems rather limited in its scope. Your article still seems rather skeletal and raw at this stage. It needs more ideas and some refinement to deserve a higher score. You could start by elaborating on specific Sikh tenets and teachings and "prove" how each of them was plagiarized from Hinduism or Islam. A little more elaboration on why Hinduism and Islam by themselves were unsatisfactory might also help.

Also, there are some childish jokes (particularly the gay hippy one) that are both rather random and funny, but you'll probably want to move away from such gags in your future works.

Concept: 7 Not a bad concept, especially if you're a n00b and have just begun writing full-length articles. The jibes at Sikkhism as well as the whole "Hinduism was better in this aspect" and "Islam was better in this aspect" are funny, and make for a good starting point, but you could expand the scope of your article by perhaps talking about how he came up with the idea of his disciples never cutting their hair and putting on turbans, and how he sowed the seeds of an ages-long rivalry between Sikhs and Muslims.
Prose and formatting: 7 Reasonable, understandable prose. At par with the overall quality of your article.
Images: 0 So you don't have any images as of now, but you can use a few simple images to further illustrate the parallels between Sikkhism and Hinduism/Islam. Or you could just upload a portrait of Guru Nanak himself and label him as a "schemer" and a "rip-off artist" or something. You'll probably get more ideas for images if you begin expanding on your work.
Miscellaneous: 5.1 Average using Template:Pee
Final Score: 25.6 Well, this isn't a bad way to start if you've just begun attempting to write articles from scratch. Apart from the advice I already gave you, it would be a great idea to check out HTBFANJS, which is immensely helpful in showing you what makes an article funny and what doesn't. Also, articles like Inspire an Article can provide you with inspirational info whenever you're thinking of starting another new article.
