Prologue

Interviewer: How do you did the idea of Homestar Runner?

Matt: We came up with the idea of Homestar Runner.

Mike: Yeah, If did do a lot of cartoons, Let me tell a story.

(cut to flashback)

Young Matt: Hey Mike! Look!

TV Announcer: The Atlanta Braves hit home runs, and you can hit a home run with savings here!

Young Mike: May we go to stadium?

Craig: I am!

Both: Ok!

French Voice: 10 Hours later...

(crowd cheering and hooraying)

Young Matt: Let's look at Lemke.

(Baseball bat hits the Ball)

Mark: All star second baseman for the Braves!

Young Matt: (in a Old-Timey Radio Impression) Homestar Runner for the Braves!

Craig: Homestar Runner? That’s the best thing we’ve ever heard!

Both: Yeah!

The Book that started it all

Mike: Mom! I'm home!

Mom: How's high school?

Mike: Fine.

Mom: Where's is Matt?

Mike: Writing the words with his typewriter.

Mom: Where's is Craig?

Mike: He's was making the pictures for the book.

Mom: So, Was this book gonna be called?

Mike: The Homestar Runner enters the Strongest Man in the World Contest.

Mom: Cool.

Mike: Am I the Co-Author?

Mom: You are!

The second book

Mike: Hey Craig, Hey Matt!

Matt and Craig: What?

Mike: I got an idea.

Matt: What's your idea?

Mike: I want to make Homestar Runner Goes for the Gold!

Matt: Forget that. We'll scrap the ideas.

The Very first cartoon

Mike: Hey, Donnie!

Donnie: What?

Mike: May i make the very first cartoon?

Donnie: Yes. You can.

Mike: Did i have Mario Paint?

Donnie: Yes. I bought for you in Christmas.

Mike: Yay!

The Start of a Domain Name

Mike: Hey!

Matt: What?

Mike: May we start a website?

Matt: Yes!

(Matt and Mike heads over to the PC)

Mike: Was this domain name's gonna call?

Matt: HomestarRunner.net.

Mike: No. How about HomestarRunner.com?

Matt: Sure.

The cartoon that started it all

Mike: Can we make our first cartoon on the Internet?

Matt: Yes.

Mike: What we gonna call it?

Matt: Marshmallow's Last Stand.

Mike: Great!

The Start of a Website

Mike: Alright! What are we gonna do now?

Matt: Let's launch this bad boy in 20 seconds.

(countdown break)

Matt and Mike: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0!

(Website comes up)

(Matt, Mike and Craig cheering)
