Poetry for people who hate poetry

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,

yet to be as cool as me would be quite a feat,

I try to be modest but I just can not lie -

my intelligence and humor is hard to deny.

I have many friends who say I'm smart,

I agree with all of my heart -

I love to take pictures of my purple hair,

because I'm so honest, charming and fair.

I often publish my own acclaimed fan-fiction,

I suppose you could say its a sort of addiction.

I never fall victim to pride or delusion,

of that there can be no further confusion.

I'm a modern guru on everything hip -

I'm also quite fond of spicy bean-dip.

So as you stare in awe at my greatest creation

Just remember - I love your attention.
