| Humour: | 6 | Interesting idea. Absurd can work well, if it's focussed. "Absurd...focussed?" you say. "Yes", I say. |
| Concept: | 7 | Like "man bites dog" but with a weasel and no biting. Also, a woman instead of a man. Again, absurd can work. |
| Prose and formatting: | 6 | Words and spaces, which are nice. Reads like English. One minor mistake that I found (a missing space). A spell/grammar check is never a bad idea (though it should never be a crutch). Doesn't "flow" like a Hardwick piece, but doesn't stutter incoherently either. |
| Images: | 6 | The pics supports the text. Neither stands out, but neither holds the page back. Hence the score. |

| Final Score: | 35 | My main, and only, real problem is that the page starts at the end and never fills in the beginning or middle. This results in a short page that's missing the backstory. Pretend you're a reporter. Who, what, when, where, why. Those are the important bits. Granted, I prefer UnNews stories that are like real stories, but not...but starting at the end, then ending, just seems like a quick run to the punchline to me. Try either a) giving away the joke at the beginning (as you have in the title), then maintaining the gag throughout the page or b) not giving the joke away until the end. Either can work, and work well, but they both need enough "meat" to keep the reader full of words on his or her journey to the final period.
Or, to put it another way: read the page as though you are someone other than you. Do you see how it looks like the last three paragraphs to a good page? "Who vandalized this page?" you who are acting as though you are someone else asks. |

I added Category:Pregnancy back because this article is probably going to be featured, and featured articles should have high exposure, so we don't lead the reader to utter crap quite as often. --Mn-z 19:09, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
