Now I'm no aesthete, but what if it's supposed to be viewed from below? That way, the only time you have to see it is if you place it above your bed, and that way, it will bore you enough to make you go to sleep. @OnePunch: I think that's unlikely and less an aesthetic question than an adhesive one. But pondering on your reply I came to the conclusion Mondrian might have had the intention to inspire people to decorate their bedroom ceilings with duct-tape in a similar way to achieve the benefits you mentioned. --46.114.137.173 13:27, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Yes it used to be, yet in recent years it has become thinner and thinner and now I doubt if it still is the answer or rather a question. It certainly tends to curl up like a question mark once you peel it off of the roll. Or is it just the CE certified duct tape we get in the EU? --46.114.143.103 19:32, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

Duct tape is not the answer to everything. I used it on the fabric cover to my firepit after a rodent achieved a secondary egress, and it curled up several days after I peeled it off of the roll, rendering the wood in the firepit uncovered (and soggy).
