Description

This template calculates the difference between birth dates and the current date, or a given date if specified.

To accommodate worldwide collaboration between Americans (who use month day, year format) and the rest of the world (who use day month year format) the parameter |df=yes outputs the day first. Otherwise, American-style format prevails.

Usage

Examples

Terry Pratchett's age were he alive, written using American-style dates:

{{Age|1948|04|28}} 76

Same age written using British-style dates:

{{Age|1948|04|28|df=yes}} 76

Terry Pratchett's age when his knighthood was announced, using American-style dates:

{{Age|1948|04|28|2008|12|31}} 60

Same age written using British-style dates:

{{Age|1948|04|28|2008|12|31|df=yes}} 60
