Description
This template formats birth dates. Humans are probably more interested in {{Birth date and age}}, which takes a birth date and calculates a person's age from the birth date.
Its use to Uncyclopedia is questionable: it makes the date within infoboxes machine-readable for bots, by formatting the dates with hidden text written using a standardized date format. It doesn't do anything else.
To accommodate worldwide collaboration between Americans (who use month day, year format) and the rest of the world (who use day month year format) the parameter |df=yes outputs the day first. Otherwise, American-style format prevails.
