I have more than 100 of St Bees, 5 or 6 of which can justify an amusing caption. Try as I might, I cannot find anything in the Beginners' Guide to tell me the format, or how to move or insert them. Am I stupid, or should this be in the Guide?

The format for pics, in thumbnail version is:

[[Image:ImageName.jpg|thumb|right|Caption here]] Replace .jpg with the proper extension if necessary [i.e .gif or .pgn] and replace "right" with "left" if you want it on the other side of the page.

This page was not deleted. The reasons for which were that it actually means something to people instead of just being a joke. Hey all, its the original dude here, the one who first penned the article. it's great to see so much editing having been done on the article, wth all the little in jokes etc, however i must ask that you refrain from making jokes that are unnecesarily rude or personal. ok? an eception to this rule is Will burnett, feel free to have at the bastard. but keep it funny

THE TIME HAS COME

So it's been a year since the last clumsy attempt at an edit of this page. I think the great shitstorm of our time has passed and perhaps it is time it were unlocked? The changes to the school in the last 14 months could make for some interesting reading. Is there a way to go back and change all the is's to was's?

I started working on it, but then I realized that fewer people would care about an institution that used to exist: in short, nobody but former students of the school would want to read it if I changed everything to past tense. I googled St.Bees School. It is temporarily closed and has one Daily Mail citation. No wikipedia entry so looks a bit crufty at best anyway (though not badly done as such). Maybe one for VFD? --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:51, July 28, 2016 (UTC)
