Thanks for the article. My knowledge of Spanish comes from being once married to a Costa Rican. Regards Spanish in Argentina, I was told it has elements of Italian in it as a lot of immigrants from Italy settled there. I have added some links. I think the article lacks a proper introduction, to at least explain why speakers of Spanish find this so funny. As a comparison, I would be like a writer talking about the language differences between Americans and British without explaining it further on a Spanish language website. Also, why do the Spanish in Spain speak with a lisp and those in the Americas don't?
