Guys, or girls, as the case may be, please stop editing this page for the hell of it. It is a humor article (as is everything in this "encyclopedia"), but that does not make it an automatic flame war. This was a very well-written article, but then it got way out of hand. Lock this article please[edit]
This article is being constantly ruined and butchered by random (band) idiots. The ASCII triangle is changed at least 5 times a day, and unnecessary crap about their band is put in place of actual funny stuff. I don't want to ban the competitive nature of marching band by banning band references relating to competition groups, but I don't want to see stuff like "<insert band> is teh 1337 and <insert other band> suxorz" or "<insert name> is the most awesome person in my band" At least come up with something that other band people, even your competitors may enjoy and understand.--Unknown_user | Talk | Contribs | LULZ | AAN | MUN
I agree, even though I was pretty amused to find the marching band I'm in (Mechanicsburg) be mentioned a couple of times in the article, that section should be removed and the article should be locked. --Dspa01 01:15, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Some of the stereotypes for band members seem to come from a really specific band or something. I dunno...I guess it is different for everyone. I mean yea my bands color guard was fat and percussionists are stupid as a rule, but really a lot of the other ones? You know what ruins marching band's reputation more than the one annoying kid? These stupid stereotypes that you're SUPPORTING! For God's sake, this shit isn't funny. Who the hell wrote that bullshit about the cymbals being wannabe drummers? I played Snare for two years and chose to play cymbals my Junior year. Stop writing lies about something that should be commemorated.

Unlock this article please[edit]
The article is significantly flawed. It even has a notice requesting changes posted at the top of the page. The only way that it is going to get better is if members have a chance to edit it.
