What DID you expect if the page got dugg. They love digg, and want to bury anything that doesn't... and are able to do so on Digg with the great and holy thumbs down button. On a wiki... well... T3h 08:44, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, the Digg people came in and deleted and screwed the most information. They really seem to act exactly according their golden rule: "If 900 billion flies love eating shit, it must be good. Eat shit!".

Digg Gnome

Clicking on digg button will dispatch what is called a "digg gnome". Digg gnomes will begin to pull the rope that is attached to the story you dugg using a pulley system. I'm a little puzzled about digg users "stealing music". If you "stole" my car but it's still in my garage and I took it out for a spin this morning, did you really "steal" it?

Well, no it doesn't work like that. It's what nerds call a logical fallacy. If you designed the car, and someone stole your design but you still have the origional, then it's stealing. With your logic (not that you're doing it on purpose) stealing music off of the internet would amount to stealing only the raw data without any appreciation for what the data actually means to a human. Or capturing the sound waves from a concert but only doing it for the sound waves, and not the music. 69.254.76.77 12:51, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

Technically file sharing is copying not stealing. People are making unauthorized copies of stuff. It is like a VCR or DVR making a copy of a TV show or movie, but one way is considered legal and the P2P method is considered illegal. Look at the MPAA via Sony Betamax case for more info. --Lt.
