Books never written[edit]

I rewrote this article, just in time to totally miss Conservation Week and not care. Scathing critique please. --The Acceptable Thinking cap small.png Cainad Sacred Chao.png (Fnord) 09:50, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 7 I LOLer'd. More content would equal more funny.
Concept: 9 Quite funny, good spin. Especially for a rewrite.
Prose and formatting: 8 Well above average; THINKER appreciates this.
Images: 8 All work, good captions.
Miscellaneous: 8 I just wish there was a bit more!
Final Score: 40 Excellent Cainad. Consider my vote a resounding DIG.

I don't really have too many End Notes for this one. I think everything is well laid out, everything that is there is quite funny to me. The only thing I can think of really is a little more expansion. Perhaps maybe like 1 or 2 more sections with other equally ridiculous non-works, such as "Books Which Were Written at Some Point, but Have Since Been Unwritten due to Cosmic Reversal" or "Books that Have been Dictated, but Not Written."

If you flesh it out a bit, I'm thinking instant FA. As is, it'll still probably fair well, so proceed accordingly. Either way, excellent job, and a really fun article. :) --THINKER 20:38, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Not fair[edit]

From the article: There is evidence to suggest that, in 1932, a disgruntled non-author once tried to sue everyone else on the planet for copyright infringement of the book he didn't write, Sockless Acupunture.

This is plainly unfair. I didn't write this book just as much as the non-author. I deserve credit too.

Also, shouldn't this article mention the British Constitution, one of the most famous legal documents that was never written?

I agree the British Constitution should be there. Also the Gospel According to Jesus. More of such, and less scatology. This article is a really good idea, but needs to be more mindful in order to be effective as parody. --Unlaw 00:40, November 24, 2009 (UTC)
