Glendowie
Glendowie is the "Shire" within the Auckland Isthmus, New Zealand. It is nestled between Isengard (formerly known as St Heliers), and Mordor (formerly known as Glen Innes).
In November 2021, Glendowie declared itself a sovereign state after all of the residents become double vaccinated, only to realize that it was all a joke and no other part of New Zealand had bothered. Shortly afterward, a wall was constructed around Glendowie with the publicized reason to keep the zombies out of Glendowie. In fact, the reason for the wall was to keep its inhabitants from leaving.
Glendowie is currently trialing different forms of state power to find which one is the most corrupt and creates the most wealth for its leaders. The figurehead of state is currently Trev Bigg. His title is "King President Light Shines out of his Ass" Bigg. Trev is revered as a philanthropic Jesus-like figure however the real power lies with the Supreme Leader of Glendowies North South, East and West, Ruth Lees supported by henchwoman Sue Barker.
The seat of government is Mt Jarod Taylor. The flag is a dog with a star, symbolizing the dog walkers who are revered almost as much as the duck feeders.
