Fugue

Johann Sebastian Bach's famous fugue á 5 in C major from his Well-Tempered Clavier (or was it The Art of Fugue? ... I have no idea). Note the perfect symmetry of the theme (uh ... "subject" ... I forgot): its inversion is equivalent to its retrograde as well as the retrograde is equivalent to the original form and the retrorgade of the inversion. Also note the augmented stretto of all five voices in the last measure. What a genius of counterpoint!
