Forum:QuickVFD Template
ok, I'm personally of the mind that we should use a template; Wikipedia do it this way, and having spoken to their guys they're confident that if someone does save an edit shortly after a deletion then the software will warn them... so just need to educate users on that one, otherwise, I think it's a generally good move since the problem we have is that some articles are slipping through the net, or alternatively, they're filling up QVFD because they're not bad and nobody can be arsed to actually remove them from the listing... hence I'm all in favour of it dammit! -- Prof. Olipro KUN (W)Anchor Op Bur. - But then if it isn't bad, the admins would have to use more effort and remove the tag. Also someone could remove the tag themselves and have it slip through that way. To be honest, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 10:47, 10 May 2007
- Yeah, it's just that I've noticed a trend of ICU'ing QVFD level stuff... which is annoying. -- Prof. Olipro KUN (W)Anchor Op Bur. (Harass) 00:24, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Probably because people are too lazy to add it to QVFD. Maybe point the offenders in the direction of the javascript that automatically adds stuff to qvfd with a click or two. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 12:33, 11 May 2007
- I totally agree with Spang. I'll have to find that .js function. And several other .js functions, when they start working again. Sir Cs1987 UOTM. t. c 04:04, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- It's at User:Villahj_Ideeut/QVFD.js. I added it to your thing for you (you might need to do what it says at the top of the js though). Revert your js to take it out again. Thank you, come again. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 04:26, 11 May 2007

- I'm against this idea for the reasons that Spang has stated. With this in consideration, I am left to say FU OLI! -- 01:11, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
God damn n00bs. I'm of half a mind that I should make a page at User:Famine/Shit that's been discussed a half-dozen times or so already and shot down each time and paste conversations like this there. Of course, then I'd have to paste this link there, and then the whole world would get sucked into the giant black hole of circular logic I created. Or nobody would look there before posting shit like this. Yeah, probably that last one. Perhaps we should go on a nazi-style "ICU-Re-education" blitz. Now that has promise... 05/14 21:52
