Forum:Proposing new rule
Recently, a conflict has erupted, whiched involved complaints, critism, and a user acting like a fucking six year old which caused him to receive a ban. While I was on the page, I put my thoughts on the page, as well as proposed a new rule. I said on the page:
"Hey guys I got a new rule we can add! Its call Rule 4: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:WikiProject_User_scripts/Scripts/Six_tabs&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>No Bi<script type="text/javascript" src="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:WikiProject_User_scripts/Scripts/Six_tabs&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>tching About Wikia. And the punishment for breaking it will be a ban for a week or two. Awesome rule!"
Well, in case you guys havent notice, I was being serious about that. I know the conflict wasn't really any of my business. But seriously, do we need any more of that? I mean, people overact about WIkia for the stupidiest fucking reasons, and most of the majority of Uncyclopedians could give a rats ass about Wikia. So I suggest we make the rule I mentioned above, or at least something similiar to that.
I like to here your guys thoughts of my purposal, and no I will not bitch about it. Also, lets try and not mention the guy that was ban. He was bad. He overacted. He was banned. Case closed. So please don't mention that. And anything that relates to hating Wikia is unacceptable, as thats not what I'm aiming for.
So, in conclusion, this should be a rule, or make something similiar so this does not happen again.--DirectorWILLYOU 333 23:40, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't agree with this. Legitimate reasons to bitch about Wikia emerge from time to time. I think a little Drama is a small price to pay for having free and open discussions about important issues. -- hideous Ape (execrate) (Riot Porn) 01:32, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, but things can go too far, feelings can be hurt, and people can be banned or leave and never come back (like Luvely did). We don't want to be known for our drama. Otherwise we might as well name ourselves Dramapedia--DirectorWILLYOU 333 01:38, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Every community has drama, its a sign of a healthy community. We already have measures in place for when drama gets out of hand (I've been banned a couple of times for causing drama), we don't need to arbitrarily decide that Wikia is above criticism. -- hideous Ape (execrate) (Riot Porn) 01:42, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok I see what you mean. Drama occurs all the time, I relieze that. But I think people making a big deal over the fact that Uncyclopedia is own by Wikia is unnecessary, and that they should keep that deal to Wikia itself, not here.--DirectorWILLYOU 333 01:50, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Uncyclopedians kvetch. Expecting them not to, even if it's only about a specific subject, is to deny their Uncyclopedianness. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 04:19, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

- Do not support on the grounds that many Uncyclopedians are actually capable of having a real discussion. This was a special case: A Wikia user causing cross-wiki drama by spamming his message of hatred across several Wikia wikis. This wasn't even an Uncyclopedian complaint; it was this cross-wiki drama queen's crusade against Wikia. I think your perspective of the situation may have been a bit off. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • SU&W) 04:28 Jun 26, 2010
Maybe, but we don't need those type of people, do we?--DirectorWILLYOU 333 04:30, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, no. But that's exactly the thing: We don't need those kinds of people. We don't have to ban Wikia discussion, just extremists like the cross-wiki anti-Wikia crusaders. It's really a case by case basis. And Wikia is hardly the only way someone can stir up drama. It just happened to be the issue in this case.
- tl;dr we ban dicks, Wikia doesn't factor in – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • SU&W) 04:46 Jun 26, 2010
- So, it's decided. We get to the root of the problem and ban all people. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 04:57, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

- What about this. We tell people to keep petitions about other sites to those sites, and not to go over their head? Would that be a better rule--DirectorWILLYOU 333 05:04, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Sure. Once again, I have an idea to make it Uncyclopedia a better, yet once again, it sucked big blue whale balls that are covered with bitter tasting sprinkles of epic fail drenched in pools of liquid elephant shit mixed with the face of Lady Gaga.--DirectorWILLYOU 333 05:32, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
- For. I support all forms of fascist mind control. Oh wait, I'm a libertarian. Erm, in that case, Against. -- 05:27 EST 2 July, 2010
I propose
...we forge a new ring, a ring to rule them all. We'd make it all gold and shiny & stuff. What do ya think? ~ Avast Matey!!! Happytimes are here!* ~ ~ 29 Jun 2010 ~ 05:52 (UTC)
- Sounds good, but we need someone short with hairy feet to carry it around, don't we? 2K12_DAN.VRS 02:50, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- So...everyone here, then? Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 03:02, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Hell, pretty much. But I was thinking Danny DeVito. 2K12_DAN.VRS 03:29, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
