I have tasked myself with updating the "Did you know" section. After finding what I assume is the master list http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Did_You_Know I found:

  • Xamralco has deleted vandalism by a Sockpuppet.
  • But the Sockpuppet also went to a step of adding a protect to his/her vandalism, if that is part of the problem below.
  • Everything looks good on the page but when I go to the EDIT page, nothing but the vandalism is displayed.

So the question is: can I just do rollbacks to get to the earliest unvandalized page and get something editable? Or will something trickier be required? Now I can archive the list just in case, but I'm lazy and I don't want to lose the history such as it is. --Nigel Scribbler sig2.png (talk) 15:53, May 12, 2018 (UTC)

The Sockpocket in question was Sockpuppet of an unregistered user - a.k.a. 'Socky' from Belgium. A former admin. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 17:36, May 12, 2018 (UTC)
The actual info is held on here on this: ...Just add that on top right edit box and it will take you there. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 17:44, May 12, 2018 (UTC)
Many thanks! Waddling onward and upward... --Nigel Scribbler sig2.png (talk) 22:19, May 12, 2018 (UTC)
NB I've removed location from your post as even though it is protected, it might help to confuse potential vandals a bit --Nigel Scribbler sig2.png (talk) 20:34, May 14, 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. I had a look at the new template. Like the ideas/images/'sarc' there. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 22:07, May 14, 2018 (UTC)
Great! Many more images are needed. Only one image has popped up on the front page so far. In the text list, zero new entries have shown up. Every time I add a new image/entry, it may be resetting itself or suchlike so I scrambled the order of old and new images. Or I'm being impatient. New stuff is "coded" by having a blank after "..." --Nigel Scribbler sig2.png (talk) 00:50, May 16, 2018 (UTC)
