• If you are a wanna-be musician, you had better read Canon (music).
• If you are instead a wanna-be photographer, then go to Canon (company).
• If you are writing Star Trek fan-fiction, then it will have to be canon, and wind up somewhere else. If you are writing an article to wind up in Uncyclopedia, then it need not align with any other article.
• If you are a wanna-be warrior, you may need a cannon.
• If you are trying to be a saint, you should go get canonized.
