Bra Mitzvah (plural Bra Mitzvahs)

1. From the word "bra," which stands for Buxom Restraining Apparatus, and "Mitzvah," which means "damn good," this Jewish ritual honouring breasts of all sizes is celebrated when a girl gets her first training bra. The ritualistic removal of her bra by her boyfriend is also referred to as a Bra Mitzvah .i.e. Bra Mitzvah: Becoming a Man Through Lingerie, as is the burning of one's bra by Gloria Steinem.
