Why are there only 28 articles? User:Wehpudicabok/sig 21:39, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

There was no featured article on April 1st. Instead there was a real wikipedia article, linking to April Fools Day. I'm guessing that something special was also done for Easter. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  18:02, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Oh yeah, now I remember, that was the day we had the awesome reskin. (Easter, I mean.) User:Wehpudicabok/sig 01:38, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Pardon my math, but shouldn't that leave 29? Rogpyvbc 03:43, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Only in an alternate universe where there are 31 days in April instead of 30. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  17:52, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Tie?[edit]

Despite the risk to my article's chances, I added a vote to Slate industry in Wales, because it deserves it. But if, as likely, the voting ends this way, what happens with the tie? Would I be correct to assume that it would mean a top 4 of the month? It's not as if a couple of extra articles will stretch top ten of the year beyond breaking point. VFH score would be an unfair tiebreaker, as it depends on busy VFH was at that point in the month and the competition at the time. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  22:57, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

I hope we go with a top 4. I'm so torn, I loved Martina & Panic on the Streets of Birmingham both so much, I hope they both make it in! (Personally, I would've just picked those two and STM's, but everybody seems to love the Consumerist so much...) User:Wehpudicabok/sig 03:18, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
