Uncyclopedia talk:CRP
You spelled "permanently" wrong. I'd fix it myself if it weren't locked. User:Wehpudicabok/sig 04:54, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
What...? The "Gerard Way" page is gone? Why?
-- Katmandu 21:49, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Why,May I ask, Was the Anti Kitten Huffing Article permanently locked, I just want a reason. Comrade Z 20:27, 17 September 2007 (UTC) Wow. This makes no sense.
- What's the difference between this and UN:CVP? JediBob Things I've said Things I've done 01:22, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- To admins
- To admins
Change a constantly recreated page to redirect to [[Uncyclopedia:CRP]] -- this should give the re-creator an edit conflict and get their attention. Do not protect the redirect, as it can and will be huffed later; this is meant as a soft version of CVP. If the re-creator ignores this message and removes or changes the redirect, treat it as a vandalism.
That's what is the difference.
Dude!! Where am I??? Everybody is gay!!! gosh, what a bunch of faggots!
Can a somebody who isn't an administrator redirect pages here? --Kurgan 01:23, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
sure, it's only erase the entire article and replace it with #REDIRECT:[[Uncyclopedia:CRP]]
- Thanks Led --Kurgan 02:41, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Is CRP deprecated?[edit]
I have heard that CVP is being deprecated in favor of DPP Special:Protectedtitles. Does that mean CRP is being deprecated too? --Pentium5dot1 19:51, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know, since CRP is the only way non-admins can noob-proof a page. But DPP itself is being deprecated, too. --Kurgan's Back. Prepare to get pwned. (Unless you are Chuck Norris) 02:21, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I thought that for parity with the other protection systems, only admins were supposed to use CRP (even though anyone can make a page a redirect). Also, I know DPP is being deprecated; that's why I struck it out above. Speaking about deprecated systems, there is also Uncyclopedia:Votes for deletion/deleted, which fell into disuse long ago; do we need to do something to clean that up? Also, is UN:VPV still active, or is that being replaced with protected titles too? --Pentium5dot1 20:57, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Dumbass[edit]
If there are offenseive things on this page, delete the offensive things or at least create a new one.
Status update?[edit]
I have noticed that CRP still seems to be used occasionally (see "Category:Things you can destroy with one dalek" under this QVFD archive page). When, if ever, is CRP still considered preferable to salting?
Also, shouldn't we do something about the very deprecated Uncyclopedia:Votes for deletion/deleted? There is exactly one deleted article (mainspace page) that links to it. --Pentium5dot1|t~^_^~c 04:41, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
