Highbrow art review[edit]

This review was the only edit by 66.162.182.66 (TalkContribs (del)EditcountBlock (rem-lst-all)LogsGroups). It's good-quality for an Anon. A plagiarism checker I used says it's original.

The name of the painting is The Letter (1891) by Mary Cassatt (1844–1926). The review talks about "Johannes Van Hoytl the Younger", who is a fictional artist created as backstory for the 2014 film The Grand Budapest Hotel. Johannes Van Hoytl the Younger allegedly painted Boy with Apple, an art history in-joke commissioned as a prop for the movie.

The Anon took an actual painting, and reviewed it in a silly light. It's nonsense with big words to say little, but intelligently so. Just wanted to say that I'm pleasantly surprised to read something like this. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 23:20, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
