Snow in Georgia
It snowed in Georgia the other night
The neighborhood kids were given a fright
They grabbed their coats and boots and mittens
And ran in curiosity like precious little kittens
They made snowmen and got in snowball fights
Until their hearts were broken later that night
The little kids' hearts tore in pain
As they saw the snow turn into rain
Quickly they ran inside and saw the horrors from their home
As the snow melted, and the snowmen were left alone
In the morning most of the children cried
Because most of the snowmen melted and died
All of the frosties took a licken
Mine passed the way of a chicken
Its head rolled off, then the rest went in the gutter
He melted easily, just like butter
It snowed in Georgia, but the snow is lost
It's gone forever, but it was boss
