Norman the Mormon was an evangelical soul

With a stovepipe hat, three wives at that,

And a missionary in Seoul.

Norman the Mormon was a parable they say

He could make faith grow but could never know

How he was born again one day.

There must have been a revelation in

That Bible verse he found

For when he got it in his head, he began to preach around.

Norman the Mormon had to hurry on his way

So he said "Let's run

And we'll have some fun

Now before the Judgement Day!"

Down to the Salt Lake,

With a Bible in his hand,

He met wives one, two, three,

Preaching on TV

Saying "Convert me if you can!"

He left his home

To convert in Rome

Up to the Catholic Pope.

Who didn't want to be born again

And then told Norman "Nope!"

But Norman the Mormon

Had to hurry on his way

So he said goodbye

Saying "Don't you cry,

Christ'll be back someday!"

Thumpity-thump-thump, Thumpity-thump-thump

Norman hallelujas

Thumpity-thump-thump, Thumpity-thump-thump

Somewhere out in Utah!
