Poetry for people who hate poetry

just illustrating a point

my friend Big Joe and I

walked into a bar

and Joe said

"man, you can't swing a bag of dicks in

here without hitting

some pretentious asshole"

i laughed at his

little jape

and then Big Joe pulled out

a bag of severed penises

and struck me

in the face

i demanded to know

the meaning of this

and Big Joe said

"just illustrating a point,

man, just illustrating a point."

sometimes

i still wonder

where he got the dicks.
