Welcome to the Mother Ship of amateur comedy writing! (Amateur means we don't pay you to do it.)
This is where the original Uncyclopedia wound up. You might as well pick a user name. We have no "partners" that want to sell you stuff. Giving your email simply lets you recover your password; we don't send spam. Uncyclopedians get a talk page, private edit area, and a welcome, maybe, if you actually edit; and we won't de-platform you for your views, if they're funny.
UnNews talk:Salt Lake City to crack down on idling

There actually is a ban in SLC, which I heard about on the Radio. The thing seemed to me to be a nearly unenforceable law that would be nearly impossible to follow. It requires you to turn off your engine if you are at a stoplight longer than 2 min (which many are), or if you are at a drive through, or if you are stuck in traffic, and I guess that you need to put a stop watch in your car, so you can know if its been more than 2 min. The whole thing seemed ridiculous. Seeing as this is a parody website, I thought it would be fun to write a parody article on the thing.
