UnDebate:Can Plants have Autism?

Background[edit]

My Teenage Mutant Ninja Tree

For some time now, I have been wondering if plants can have autism. I think my tree might be autistic.

Argument[edit]

Yes[edit]

If we consider the fact that people who have autism are commonly referred to as being vegetables, then the original proposition would be proven, since vegetables are classified as being plants.

No[edit]

Plants are not people. Autistic people always like to scream when in situations that screaming wouldn't be ideal, and since plants don't do this, plants cannot have autism.

Argument[edit]

Yes[edit]

Plants have chromosomes, and therefore genetic mutation is still possible to occur. This could lead to some plants developing genetic abnormalities, like autism.

No[edit]

No. Down syndrome is not autism. Shut up.

Verdict[edit]

No, plants can't have autism. Go get an education before you make a fool of yourself on other articles. If they can get Up syndrome, then they can also get Down syndrome, simple as that.
