Description

Advertises SVG where available.

SVG has no JPEG discolorations, can be enlarged without appearing pixelated, and often requires less storage space for simple shapes. At sufficiently low resolutions (such as small icons) the benefit may be negligible. Larger images tend to look cleaner and more perfect as SVG.

Usage

If only the extension differs, the first form can be used.

History

This is inspired by and imitates commons:Template:Vector version available. For simplicity, parameters other than |1= are not implemented.
