Usage
{{Italic title}}
Use this to set an italic title for an article or category.
It has smart handling of namespaces and parentheses, making it unnecessary to write complex forms of {{DISPLAYTITLE:''page''}}
.
On page | Page title displays as |
---|---|
Avatar | Avatar |
Avatar (2009 film) | Avatar (2009 film) |
Category:Avatar (2009 film) | Category:Avatar (2009 film) |
Errors
When called twice, possibly through another template, a red error message may result. This would happen anyway. It can be silenced by calling the template as {{Italic title|noerror}}
.
History
Originally a wikicode implementation, this is currently the same Lua code that Wikipedia uses for wikipedia:Module:Italic title.
