This template uses TemplateStyles: Template:Fakeredlink/styles.css

Usage

1. {{Fakeredlink|link text}}
2. {{Fakeredlink|link text|hover text}}
3. {{Fakeredlink|link text|}}

The difference between these is the hover text, which is only visible when rolling one's mouse over the link. In the first, hover text defaults to link text. In the second, hover text is customized. In the third, no hover text is shown.

 Note: this page will also work on pages that don't exist, so {{Fakeredlink|This page does not exist}} will give you This page does not exist but will not go directly to the "create page" look, and will not add the link to Special:Wantedpages. It will also keep the "unvisited link" colour.

Styling

The template styling is controlled by Template:Fakeredlink/styles.css, not the site-wide stylesheet. Any registered user who knows CSS can tweak the styling. Documentation is available at mw:Help:TemplateStyles.
