I'd like to cut a couple sections of this article out to make it a bit easier to read. I already did most of what I plan to do, so if no one minds I'd like to put up my changes. I got rid of 5 or 6 of the small sections and split the first one up, so there's 11 sections in my version. I also toyed with the wording of some sentences and the associated titles. Perhaps instead of slashing out the smaller sections, they could best be consolidated by subject matter (for example, a history section, a usage section, an "unbridled enthusiasm" section, etc). On the other hand the "Please pass on the salt" stuff seems to be woefully lacking of funny, and could do with a major overhaul and/or trim-down.
