From Pee Review[edit]

I sort of like this article, but I don't know why. Really it's just a blatant rip-off of Philip Glass, it seems to me, yet whenever I get the compulsion to write something, I have to finish it. This is the result. How did I fare? --Sir ENeGMA (talk) GUN WotM PLS 22:05, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 8 Wow! This article is pretty funny, if you know what Prefuse 73 is. If you don't, it's still funny because it makes fun of that dumb and generic industrial/electronic genre. I feel that it's too much of an inside joke though.
Concept: 9 The concept is dynamite! Writing out songs as they sound serves up quite the humorous treat. At first I thought that the concept was horrid, being as though you were almost forced to know Prefuse 73. But, then I realized that this concept, when applied to a big time band that everyone knows (and preferably hates), would create oodles of laughs. The only reason that it didn't get a ten was because I felt that this concept could've been used better.
Prose and formatting: 10 The prose and formatting fits the syle and concept well. The choppy sentence fragments, along with the varied cursing and ALL CAPS serve to spice things up a bit. Resembles their songs well.
Images: 8 Ehh, the images were alright. The humorous ones, the two making fun of the album artwork (I presume), really cut me up. The random picture of the kitty...was interesting.
Miscellaneous: 8 All around, well written. It made me laugh.
Final Score: 43 Yup!

  • Factual nonetheless concerning Prefuse 73. I'm beginning to loose confidence in Warp. Of all the new artists they've signed and there's almost one that's remotely worthy of that label. --AmericanBastard 07:28, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the positive review. I know it's very, very based on knowledge of the subject matter, but I just had this urge to write a silly, non-sensical article. Hopefully that's out of my system now. --Sir ENeGMA (talk) GUN WotM PLS 01:41, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
