Talk:Nelson Mandela
Phew! You know for a moment when I saw the article I thought he was actually dead! --Lucifuge Rofacale (talk) 16:01, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, I like Mandy. He's one of the few people aside from Churchill who deserves his popularity, unlike Gandhi or Mother Teresa. God, I wish there were a Hell for those two to burn in. --Lucifuge Rofacale (talk) 20:25, July 15, 2013 (UTC)
- Gandhi in Hell? Well I wasn't expecting that! Any chance you can create a humorous article on that theme? You know what Churchill called Gandhi - the 'half naked fakir'. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 09:30, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
Half-naked lunatic fakir, yes. Well Gandhi was a Luddite, a religious fanatic and practically a dictator who discouraged the use of machinery and set innovation in his country back a long way. He was also most likely an ephebephile as he used to sleep naked next to his nieces. --Lucifuge Rofacale (talk) 23:10, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
Actual death[edit]
He was battler, boy. I wrote that paragraph back in June, and he finally gave up the ghost yesterday. Six months! Not bad for a 95 year old. Leverage (talk) 09:19, December 6, 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Leverage. Do you want to re-write the final paragraph as regards Mandela's death. I will then make that the definitive version to defend against future editors? --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 12:15, December 6, 2013 (UTC)
