The article looks good! I think that some phrases could be changed so they would be funnier or would just sound better. For instance, instead of saying "CMD explains the practical implications of Murphy's Law, such as why the last place you look is always where you find what you're looking for", you could say "CMD explains why the place where you look is always the last place where you'll find what you are looking for". This makes what you're saying a bit easier to understand and the "practical implications of Murphy's Law" seems unnecessary, as it doesn't seem to be a joke.
What concerns ideas for inclusion, how about "CMD in Politics"? Politicians could use to explain why what they do always has negative effects on the country. Even a war can be justified that way: "If a war is possible, it will always happen, no matter the side that starts it" (meaning that the speaker is the one who initiated it). The quote is an example (and a fake one) and you don't necessarily have to use it.
Another thing, to make work here easier, you might consider the possibility of creating an account here! Anton (talk) 09:30, April 8, 2014 (UTC)
Yes, please do pick a user name. If you drop an unfinished article into the main encyclopedia and abandon it until Uncyclopedians whip it into shape, one possible outcome is deletion; but if you had a user name, we would instead move the article to your userspace and tell you what needs to be done with it. Any article is implicitly open for collaboration, but the idea in this article is essentially yours, and it mostly rests with you to learn how to not just start a page but complete it. Thanks for the ideas. I've tried to get an account, but "create account" failed, and it seemed too hard (possibly Murphydynamics at work?). I'll give it another go though. Thanks very much for helping me with this. 101.162.167.158 06:23, April 11, 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for trying. Famously, our username base is separate from the rest of Wikia, and if you have a username on another Wikia wiki, it won't work here. Many of the best names are taken (if I do say so myself) but with a few tries, you can find a good one. Spıke Ѧ 11:51 11-Apr-14
Still working on a username, but I had one question: How do you put a description on an edit? (I've seen it done, but can't figure out how) Thanks. 124.187.69.157 04:31, April 12, 2014 (UTC)
(Odd, my IP seems to have changed... Oh well, an account will fix that.)
Yay! An account! Now I need to find out how to move this to my userspace... An Uncyclopaedian (talk) 08:09, April 12, 2014 (UTC)
A description of an edit is something that is called change summary. When you make your edit, you can leave a phrase or two describing it in the empty field below the editing field, entitled "Summary", just above the Minor edit and Follow this page buttons. Well done with the account creation! Anton (talk) 11:45, April 12, 2014 (UTC)
If you want to move the page to a different location, soon enough (or maybe now already) you'll have a move button that will appear just between Unwatch and History or Watch and History. If you would like to userspace an article like this, you can move it to User:An Uncyclopaedian/Classical Murphydynamics (which I've just done). Anton (talk) 11:50, April 12, 2014 (UTC)
