The number of people shot by the British Army fell sharply after they were invited to Norn Iron to keep the piece. Firstly, nobody informed them which piece to keep and, secondly, they were unsure of their targets. As one exasperated squaddie memorably said, "We don't know who to shoot - they are all white!"
