I am a Basque speaker and I find it really... GREAT!! Of course it's inaccurate, it has like 500 cases and declinations more than the ones that appear there, plus the subjunctive. Oso ona, benetan!! (very good, really!!)

Well, I'm another Basque speakers and i found some parts of the article really... confuse? the last paragraf... i just dont get it....

I would say that's the personal experience of a foreigner trying to speak Basque who met with some not so nice locals. I can imagine a group of old people acting that way after a few txikito, don't you think? As for the discussion about the verb declination... have you ever seen a guy from Ondarru and another from Oñati trying to decide how something should be said? Keep that discussion in mind, and you'll probably understand why the article says "Basque is not understood by its own speakers".--Piña 13:52, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
